n to another member that has an earlier batch, I can't tell you the difference. I can however tell you that my gears which I purchased and installed around this January, has min/no whine during regular street driving. 40-50mpg is also quiet with the exception that if I step on the gas to for example maintain speed (load the gears) I can hear a little bit of a whine. Once I let off the gas to coast (unloading the gears) the car is as quiet as stock. I have read in previous posts of a magical number of 70mpg where the whine is unbearable and although I only drive @ 60-65mpg and can hear a little wine, 70 IS rather unbearable so as Nixit stated, longer drives would suck. I want to add that besides the obvious appeal of 4.10's, I accepted knowing that if I had a little bit of whine, it would be countered by the fact that I almost never drive my car on days where I can't take off the tops or at the least roll down my windows.
