Message after you have done the water bypass and taken out the other junk...it really didn't take very long at all...the only thing i got a little stuck on was the EGR bolts cause i didn't have that bent wrench i used the first time

those beautiful 300degree rails...it's a shame they have to be hidden

i was going to buy a cheap wrench and bend it to get the 10 mm EGR bolts again, when Daryl (awesome-o) made the suggestion to get a GearWrench rathcet wrench with a FLEX head (i have a set of the regular GearWrench rathcet wrenches)...i bought one of these today and got those EGR bolts within 3 minutes with this thing...good call Daryl

and this bastard...the straight hose coming down from the power steering reservoir...why did Nissan put a crimp there instead of a clamp? i don't get it, they made it more complicated than it needed to be, although i'm sure there is a reason for it...anybody know? the entire hose and crimp was spinning, which i'm assuming was the cause of the slight PS leak i still had...i dremeled this little sucker (thanks Nazeer for the pics and instructions) and replaced it with a silicone hose i got from Kyle

now it's time to cleanup the engine bay and start putting in the new parts as soon as i get the valve covers, timing covers, etc back this weekend...i really thought about deleting the EGR, but i know it's a PITA with the motor still in, so i think i'll just pass on that for now...more to come soon
