Message I think there are gains to be had with upgraded throttle bodies, no matter if your piping and intercoolers are upgraded or not. Pressure drops across restrictions are cumulative, and the throttle body is definitely a restriction relative to a pipe of similar OD.

I also don't believe a larger throttle body will cause a loss of low end. Intake velocity is determined by the manifold intake runners much more so than the throttle bodies.
