| I would consider myself very mechanically inclined and have done much engine and electronics work on a number of cars. I never thought I would buy a new car because I can bring up-to-spec a used car. I was writing up all these reasons for why I DIDN'T get a used one but ultimately it was time and money. I didn't have time to search for a good used car (read: I didn't want to spend the time and effort learning about what to look for and going out to see cars). And, basically, I could afford it. You can't beat the $0 down and 4.9% APR and BMW's 4-year 36k mile warranty.
