 Take pictures of the curve and the obstruction from both sides. And since tickets usually reference milepost markers, if possible get a pic of the MP with the the curve in it.
 Bring the pics to court. I would think that going 72 to pass in a 55 MPH zone is acceptable. You may get the ticket thrown out entirely. I had an 86 in a 60 zone (negligent driving, $525,
 insurance implications OMG) reduced to 10 over in this scenario. But I was rally passing.
