Message	now is JL worth the extra $$$? That really up to you alpine is good and so is memphis audio. I have the pdx 1.1000 hooked up to a w7 and it hits harder and clearer than my friend jl audio amp 1/1000 and the pdx is smaller and stackable ?!?!?!? Just my 2 cents. Hope this help
