| Get a descent 10" sub....do some research on this. Put it in a box that's the proper size for it. Get an amp that is properly rated with respect to the sub's ability to handle power. But a new OEM alternator and an optima yellowtop. Run a 1F capacitor and you should have PLENTY of base. More than likely your base will be just fine and you'll find you need to upgrade your other speakers. Here's where I think we're all kinda hosed. The geometry for the stock speaker locations is horrible. The drivers left leg pretty much block the left front speaker. And the rear speakers are pretty much useless. When I get around to it I plan on fiber glassing rear speaker enclosures that place the rear speakers facing forward. Not sure how to really solve the front speaker problem except to fiberglass new door panels...which I don't really want to do.
