| Maybe it is just me but 10.25mm lift is pretty high already. The reason to go with the solid lifters isn't for a higher lift cam but to simply remove the hydrolic lifters that have a problem with collapsing or expanding. MS had done a study on them they had some pretty bad problems at around 7850 RPMS or so. Also cams with smaller lobe centers which higher lifts there is less cross sectional area being used which means basically more wear on all devices. Is your cam setup still requiring shimming as well? How high you thinking of going? I think the highest cams I have seen atm are like 10.8 even on HKS 280 cams they are actually backing down the lift and just increasing duration.
