Message Steve Melson should be showing us some interesting times at the track soon!
Steve has our EXP-90 turbo kit and he is running a direct port N20 system. Steve is also running the ASH-Spec Massive Intercoolers and TDM Works piping. Since this was the first car we have worked on with our turbo kit that was running side mount intercoolers, we took the opportunity to make the turbo inlet pipes that replace the stock plastic accordion pipes and installed a set in Steve's car. Steve's car also has our exhaust.
Steve also had us install straight cut dog gears in his Nissan 5 speed transmission and he also installed the new RPS Billet carbon Carbon Clutch. The combination of this set up should offer some awesome drag times.

On to the Dyno fun!!

Seb and I tuned Steve's car this weekend with Machtavian pushing us all hard relentlessly wanting us all to be more aggressive LOL!
With High power cars the dyno works best with really sticky tires and the car needs to be strapped down HARD!
We started out with Steve's brand new E.T. street bias ply tires and the tires were holding good ........That is until one of the tires came apart on the dyno :-/ It felt like the driveshaft came apart. At that point we could not continue with those tires and had to put Steve's street tires on.
With the street tires and the N20 we were spinning the tires and getting a fake carrot showing a little over 1000 RWHP, more power than I figured was real. So we put some weights and bodies in the back of the car and got a clean graph showing 936 RWHP.
At that point with Machtavian pushing Steve and us to be more aggressive we turned up the boost and timing a little more and 1009 RWHP with a real power curve was achieved :-)
We were all a little excited :-P
34 PSI with 150 N20 Shot........
ENJOY!
