Message	I pay 7-11 cents in Austin depending on the slab and this includes delivery charges. It was not my intention to cover all pros and cons of electric vehicles; I was focusing on comparing energy costs. Demand does not always lead to price increase. Electricity demand has continuously increased over the last few decades while prices have come down. Gas prices are much higher in Europe and Asia, and even in the US they will not stay at my assumed $2/G. Energy required to heat/cool is far less than what driving requires.
