Message	did anyone here ever hire an independent inspection company to take a look at a car for you that is a distance away? how thorough are they, and would you trust their opinion to purchase without seeing the car? fwiw, i would trust my mechanic to know more about the vehicle than i do, so i'm thinking the same if these guys are knowledgable. i would always like to see and drive the car firsthand, but the car is on the other side of the country and its tough for me to take off from work just to go see the car. any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated, esp. if you have been in the situation before. thanks in advance! mike
