Ok, so I removed the panel above the drivers knees to get to removing the steering colum cover. Now, I need to find where the wires are to attach the harness. Left the instructions in the car, but they say to pull apart i think it was the master something from the key switch something (hehe yes, i know my stuff!=) From this, the only plug that looks big enough will not come loose. Its more towards the left side of the wheel, and is white and has some purple plastic cover/holder looking thing on one end of it. Is this what i need to pull apart to link in the harness? If not, where should i be looking?
Figuring i would then move on without doing this last step and work on the ECU, i was not able find out where i hook up the wires to controll the rpm and speed characteristics of the timer. The instructions have a chart for specifically where to hook them up on the 300z ECU, but i cant find out where this part is
When I am finally able to find this, how do you guys recomend running all the wires from the hook up to the ecu so they are nicly hidden? Im thinking about putting the timer vertically in a hole cut out by me behind the mirror adjusters...any opinions?
If you made it this far, thank you, but any help would be even greater! Thx
-Tim
