My father has been through several bouts with various forms of cancer as well (colon, liver, and lung). 1/2 of his left lung was removed in late December of last year. If there is one thing that I have learned from the last decade worth of his illnesses, it's that a survivor like your mom knows how to fight! We are fortunate to be living at a time in which medical advancements allow us to combat these illnesses like never before, and the support of you and your family added to your mothers' obvious strength of character and determination will add immeasurably to her fighting it off this time as well. My thoughts, and I'm sure the thoughts/prayers of the rest of this great community as well, are with you both.
