I had the same issue, had a stock '91 TT rear spoiler and wanted to do something more interesting. Ended up replacing with a Kaminari wing, as seen below. I also have much higher resolution shots of the rear if you want... There were a few issues to be addressed. First, there are holes on the upper deck of the hatch that had to be filled. These were used by the factory spoiler for clips to help hold it on. Since the factory spolier covers the rear of the hatch, I also purchased the non turbo rear smoked lense that runs the width of the hatch above the tail lights. This fit pretty well on the TT hatch, just had to line up and make 4 more square holes for it's clips that the TT hatch didn't have. Finally the wing had to be fitted and three holes drilled in the hatch to bolt the legs of the wing on with. Also had to run the third brake light wire up to the LED panel in the wing.
