I have a set on my '91 TT, and think they're an excellent buy for the price. With 130,000+ miles, I've had a number of different tires on the car (these Zs are heavy and have a hearty appetite for rubber!), including a few sets of the Gatorbacks, the Dunlops, and two other high end goodyears, including the F1 Steel. Never felt like parting with extra cash for some of the other soft tires out there, as they would wear out too quick. Anyway, the Potenzas are a good buy, best tire for the proce I'd say. Wear has been excellent so far, and they perform well, especially in the wet. Noise seems a smidge higher than some other tires I've had, but hard to be sure. Love the rim protecting sidewalls on these babies too. And they have a nice aggressive look to them as well.
