of the cams to be of significant benefit, when done to the right specs. This on my Z32 and even an my L28 turbo. While there may be some variance due the the hydraulic lifters (asTimz stated), you will have a more balanced and responsive engine. AJ and I both spent alot of time setting the cams up to certain specs per Mike Smith. While the evidence is anecdotal, we both feel that we have two of the most responsive Z32s either one of us has driven (he has sport 500s and I have JWT 530s). We also found a staggering variance in the cam timing (as much as 8 degrees difference on the exhaust and 4 degrees on the intake). Mine was more pronounced due to prior surfacing of the heads. AJ's modification of the newer style intake cam gears was pretty creative. It sounds like you had alot of variables, but the time spent on the degreeing paid off. Take care, Mark
