| I am posting this to hopefully prevent others from getting scammed by Steve Tansey (StSgRacing) I will try to keep this as factual as possible with PROOF of what I am saying. On Jan 18th I sent Steve money for performance parts he had listed in the classified section (CD player / Auto meter triple pillar gauge :
On 1/18/2009 9:42 PM Steve told me: “my paypal account will not let me log in to it,
“
On 1/20/2009 5:34 PM Steve told me: “my paypal is not letting me get in to my account all u gotta do is cancel the payment” He then stopped answering any of my phone calls and didn’t write back until I threatened a claim with paypal. He then wrote back saying that he had been traveling and could now get into his paypal account and would ship my parts. He then did not ship my parts so I open a dispute on paypal. Here is a COMPLETE listing of the conversation that took place on Paypal between Steve and I.
ME 1/28/2009 21:23 PST - Buyer: Steve, I am opening this claim to protect myself in the event that you do not ship my product, as you have committed to do several times and not followed through on. Once you provide me with a legitimate tracking number on the goods that I have already PAID you for then I will drop this. Please mail my items as you have promised ASAP. Thanks Saxon
Steve 1/28/2009 21:35 PST - Seller: like i said in a email i sent you 10 minutes ago when i explained bad weather, you can have your friend or boyfriend pick up the items you purchased from me, if not i will ship them asap, its unfortunate that i have a full time job and have very few hours for free time unlike some people, but yes, you will get your parts,
ME 1/28/2009 21:40 PST - Buyer: Steve, Thanks for you commitment. Since I would prefer documentation I will allow you to ship the items and provide me a tracking number. I am sorry to hear about your bad weather. If it was not the 3rd or 4th time that you had committed to ship goods to me and then not...and not bothered to follow up, then i wouldn't have taken this to paypal. Just so its "official" when will you be shipping my parts and when can I expect a tracking number? Thanks Saxon
Steve 1/28/2009 21:45 PST - Seller: give me two days , and you will have your tracking number, i work 9-10 hours a day plus travel time, its hard to get things as soon as promised, but i will be in a knkos fedex location the next two days and ill have the packages with me, and i will ship them, at which time a tracking number will be sent,

Today @ 5pm EST I am going to elevate this to a claim if I don't have a tracking number. I am tired of listening to your excuses and putting up with your lack of follow through. –Saxon
ME 2/5/2009 19:48 PST - Buyer: Dear Paypal, If you will review the correspondence record regarding this dispute you will see that Steve consistently doesn't follow up on his commitments and is yet to produce ANY evidence that he has shipped my parts. Also, this is apparently not the first time that Steve has done this. I paid him his money and all I want are the parts that I paid for or my money back. I am more than happy to provide you with any proof that you need or help out in anyway possible. Also, I am not the only to have issues with him.
