may come in handy if your vendor sends you the wrong front splash guard (which is what happened to me) or if you're picking up a used one.At first glance the design of the two splash guards below may appear to be identical, but the top one is for the TT; the bottom is for the NA: 
The difference is more obvious in the pic below. 
The lowest most portion (the peninsular part) of the TT version (left) is reduced so as to provide clearance for the stock IC air guides. Also, it is at more of a 90 degree angle relative to the body of the guard compared to the NA version. For TT applications with SMIC the NA version is not interchangeable with the TT guard, at least not without modification for IC air guide clearance. .
