They aren't so great for the applications of today... I owned 2 of them when they came out and had a few issues. I strayed for a little bit, but when the lab tests showed AMD 1.2 beating out PIV 1.5 in gaming, I went back and now have a 1.33 and another spare 1.33 that I'm putting together for a personal server. They both have quality products, but it takes a higher speed Pentium to hang with the AMD in a lot of aspects and they have been overpriced forever. The new dual processor AMD setup is sweet. I can't knock Pentium too much though. I still have another computer with a 450 PIII and a server in Dallas set up with a dual Xeon. My work laptop is a PIII 750 and Laura's old one she still uses occasionally is a PI 300 heheh, all of them work just fine. AMD also has an awesome reference site at www1.amd.com where you can look up what power supplies, motherboards, you name it and they'll have it listed if it's recommanded for each particular setups, under the self tech sections.
