[ http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/off-topic-chat/118169-fuck-california.html ]california is really spearheading the fight of pollution from passenger cars, unfortunatly this means its only time before the other states adopt californias laws. its happened in the past with smog check standards. personally im all for cleaner air but the real problem isnt with passenger cars. sure in major cities it leads to a problem but where i live 70% of the county's air pollution is from offshore shipping. my problem with the issue is when was the last time the public was informed of the decisions and was able to vote upon them. these laws are just crammed down our throats with no choice and many of them are absolutly absurd to the logic of any informed individual.
i would be more than happy to smog my car to tail pipe standards, as soon as every car on the road owned by the government is. why should we have to pay the cost of smogging our cars when the governement isnt even willing to do it themselves.
