Message I *think* that it only works off-idle (or something like that)...it is not necessary and just another emissions thing. All it does is route some exh. gas into the intake, which is then sucked into the cylinders. This gas cannot be burned and takes up space in the comb. chamber, lowering exhaust temps. It is not necessary, though, and gimmicky. Take it off. Lots have and no one has had problems.
