Message Just follow the path of the fuel itself.

Which is

1. Gas cap to gas tank
2. gas tank to fuel pump filter
3. Fuel pump filter to fuel pump assembly
4. Fuel pump assembly to fuel line that connects to fuel tank hard line.
5. hard line to rubber line that comes up along the brake booster to rubber line that feeds fuel filter.
6. Fuel filter to rubber line that feeds fuel rail
fuel rail to fuel dampener
7. fuel dampener to fuel pressure regulator
8. return fuel rubber line to hard line and back to fuel pump.

Basically I would take the fuel presure regulator and loop back to the fuel tank with a fuel pressure gauge to check to see whats going on. And do this at every step to see where you stop loosing fuel pressure. Oh this require you to force the fuel pump to constant on.

Normally when you got a differntial in fuel pressure like this it some rubber hose turning into a big ballon :-P Don't let anyone smoke around your car for when it pops :-)
