| No power adders. I do not consider water injection to be a power adder. We use it as a tool to increase saftey and longevity. We tune the cars safely without water injection, and then spray on the dyno to insure that the tune doesn't need adjustments. The result is a slight decrease in output but safer. If the water injection goes south for any number of reasons the engine is not going to grenade. I realize there are other measures like boost cut solenoids etc, but we prefer to not push the limits that far and be forced to depend on them. On a dyno, tuning to the edge is usually no problem and you can produce big numbers, but things aren't always optimal when the cars leave the dyno. Over the years we've learned a lot about tuning cars for the street as opposed to the dyno and just how wide the saftey buffer there really needs to be. 700 rwhp on these turbos is a reasonable max dyno number, however I would consider it past the limits of what would be safe for extended street use.
