Message the poor quality controlled parts fail. It's about controlling the liklihood that they will not fail. If spending $90 more dollars increases the liklihood that they will not fail, it's worth it. Over and over again, history offers us examples of poor quality control that went on for years. Then when the failure happens, they up the quality control standards.
