over a year (yes other neighbors ride too) without incedent or problems and that i'm on the road for seriously 3 minutes and got a damn ticket. I had gone up the street, down the back yard and was going back up the street when he saw me. Now my ? is this -- isnt it almost an oximoron when you get a ticket for not wearing a helmet but you're not on a street legal bike anyway? The law i thought only applied to being on a street legal bikes, but then yes -- i shouldnt be riding a non-street legal bike on the street - but again i was on a 100 yrd non-through street. Just a goofy ass ticket and i was thinking that a warning would have been much more in order I mean how many people have gotten warnings for having a light out, or speeding, or i've even heard of people getting warnings for drunk driving and the cops telling them to just get home. Guess i'm just bitter cuz i'm an active supporter of the local law enforcement and i get a ticket for such a silly offence. L8r bro,
