I Had the doors apart, battery disconnected, and needed to roll up the windows. I turned on a car battery charger, put pieces of wire in the charger's clamps, and stuck the wires onto the prongs on the window motor. It doesn't matter if you hook it up backwards, the motor will just spin in reverse and try to lower the windows more, which shouldn't hurt the motor if it's only spinning for a few seconds.
