sidewalk with no helmet and you think your doing nothing wrong?? ok... : my own god damn street!
: This cop happened to be driving by on the main street that connects to my street (which is not a through street -- its a culdasac *spelling?) and i had just been riding not even 5 minutes when he pulls me over -- hahaha idiot! : So long story short -- he pulled me over cuz i wasnt wearing a helmet and thought i was just some punk kid -- so he asked if i had my license and i said yeah -- in my house -- so he asked where i lived and i said see that white house, the 2nd one on the right 100 ft away - yea thats mine. So he tells me to push it down to my house and then asks for my license and then asks if i ride my bike much around here and blah blah -- well i tell him we normally ride in the back yards since my neighbor has a bike also and that since i had just put a new tire on yesterday and had the oil change that i was just taking it up the street to see how it ran. : He then goes to his car and comes back 10 minutes later (no shit) and tells me he's going to cut me a break and not write me a ticket for "driving a unlicensed non-street legal vehicle" but is going to give me a ticket for not wearing a helmet. : I seriously just started to smile and laugh and he said he was cutting me a break today. I just continued to smile w/ a shit eating grin and sign the damn thing. : Seriously upsetting when i'm at my own house and the guy writes me a ticket considering i was only 100 ft from my house and there was literally no traffic on my road and its not a through street. : Its kinda upsetting to know that there's asshole cops like this out there -- and if any cops are reading this story -- u'd have to admit he was an asshole for this ticket. : Oh and actually when he pulled me over -- i was already on the sidewalk riding back down to my house and not on the street. : Just had to vent cuz idiots like this piss me off -- keep in mind i always wear a helmet when i'm riding any of my bikes in the trails or on the street, but this was literally just a ride up the street to check out a new tire and my new spark plug -- WHAT AN ASSHOLE! : L8r guyz,
