I had to replace my glass in my NA twice in 3 months. When I bought the car, the seller used scotch bright to remove the painted info off the windshield, scratched it all to hell. I drove around with it for awhile and then saved up enough to replace it. Within 3 months, some kids decided to go around town smashing out windows and I was one of the first to get hit. They smashed the front glass, hit the side window but it didn't break, and hit my passenger mirror.... all with a aluminum baseball bat. They hit over 200 cars and to be honest, I was very lucky (I guess) because the damage they did to other cars was far worse than mine. So.... a harley pedal isn't *that* bad I guess. At least it was unintentional damage. Insurance didn't help me either, and there's no way to make your state pay for it.
