Message	Of not involving the cops when he hit you and ran. Call the police right away, tell them EVERYTHING - including what the dealership offered. Someone else said it once and I'll repeat: What if they don't fix it to your liking? What is your recourse then? Better to have a person of your choice fix it versus the dealership.
