not as daily drivers anyway. however if the car is in perfect shape and has had NO problems and you do no mods to it it might prove to be a rewarding and fun car to have. Here are the modsthat you can do to INCREASE reliability. 1. replace all hoses, silicone and zip tie them - i believe there are over a 100 hoses on that car. 2. Replace the downpipe / precat with bigger downpipe (keeps the heat out) 3. Replace the radiator with a bigger one. 4. Replace the cat with a unclogged one :) 5. Put in moderate sized cat back (if you must) 6. Change oil every 2k miles These mods will make the Rx run cooler thus making it last longer. With 79 k i am afraid most of the damge might already be done. (Good luck) Harry
