chances are, the IP address will trace back to the nearest metropolitan area anyway.
No one is going to drive to a small town just to try to find you to steal your car. If someone wants to steal it, chances are it's someone in your area already. There aren't many people stealing cars based off what they see on the internet. Especially when the site is international.
Now a local forum is a little different. I wouldn't doubt that there are trolls on local forums who read the member's rides sections and use it as a shopping list.
