| I need new tires and my current tires are no longer made. Now, the GS-D3 are RunOnFlat, which adds dollars I don't want to spend (over $1700 for all 4). I don't want to spend over $1200. Currently, here is my configuration: FRONT 18x8.5 SSR GT3 Bright Satin w/Polished Lip REAR 18x10 SSR GT3 Bright Satin w/Polished Lip 245/40YR18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Blackwall 275/35ZR18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Blackwall I keep the wheels balanced and aligned and have suspension mods to allow needed adjustments (profile is not accurate of my current Z). I have probably put less than 4000 miles on them in the last 3.75 years. The car does sit a lot on concrete in my garage. I have noticed in the last year that when I first drive the car it takes a while to get a really smooth ride. I assume its something with the tires getting warmed up. One of the rears has had a plug near the sidewall for about 2 years and while I sometimes forget about it, I don't like trusting it (especially with no spare). Lately, I've noticed that they feel "greasy". I'm not sure if that is the accurate technical description, but they are very slippery. Even on a modest turn with a little bit of extra throttle I can feel the rear end letting loose. My driving is 100% street at this time. The most spirited driving I've done is at Tail of the Dragon. I'm in Florida, so winter performance isn't a big factor. I avoid rain, but would like some rain performance because rain will catch you down here in the summer. I would like a high performance tire with a good ride and low noise, suited to my area and driving. I've went through search, and I see whats popular but not sure what is best for me. Anyone's use similar to mine? Whats works for you? Any suggestions for me? Thanks.
