| I've been to three different local stereo shops. All of them had different opinions and even bad mouthed the others choices. Everything online contradicts its self. I know I've posted a similar post before but this is a big money decision and want to make the right one. Here is what I am thinking so far. My Alpine CDA-9833 stays Focal 165 K2P's if I can find a good deal otherwise Focal 165 KF Components. Buy some matching rear coaxials. Anyone have these currently? How's the fitment? Any reviews. I listend to the 165kfs in person and they are phenomenal. The plan for the amps were Alpine pdx 4.150 and 1.1000 since I want to be able to mount both amps on the rear cargo tray under my Chris Z amp cover. One local shop suggested the JL audio HD amps over them and another said they were both junk and to go with Arc or Zapco.The 165kfs I listened to were powered but an Arc amp. Suggestions or personal experience with any of them? Last is the subs. I'm having a hell of a time finding a sub to fit in my version 1 ChrisZ box. .8cf sealed and only 7" mounting depth. There are plenty of shallow mount 12" but none with the power handling I want. They will each be getting 500w rms. For the Subs I really like the shallow mount JL 13TW5 and according to the guy at the alpine shop a 12" version is coming out soon. If not I may be able to modify my box to fit it. Any help is appreciated. There are so many choices and I hate going to local shop because they are trying to sell you what they carry not what's necessarily the best quality/price.
