The word "comprehendible" does not exist in the Oxford English dictionary. Search results hereI also asked some English professors. While either words are valid in the American English language, it comes down to the targeted audience. In this case, the word "comprehensible" would be more well-known and better perceived to be the correct word. Usage of "comprehendible" would cause more people to scratch their heads and send them off to consult a dictionary.
