Neither do a good job of taking into account "special" cars like a clean Z32. Dealers are quick to show a kbb.com value if you ask them for it, but the kbb software allows them to fudge the data in their favor. What I mean is that they can add features to a vehicle, spray-in bedliner, 18" wheels, upgraded stereo, as examples, that come standard with the model they have already chosen which raises the base price before options. You must call them out on it, and your offering price should make the salesperson wince with dismay. They always want you to show your cards first, so go superlow and see what they're holding. I enjoy car shopping. :) SS
