| Most of the coatings out there today do not simple seem to work well enough. I haved tried Swain, Jet hot, and Ceramic on turbines and all after a while eat flake off, turn into dust or simple are just protection layer that provides very little head reduction. The best for reducings engine cabin temps and keeping down the heat dissappation has been Ceramic but it will turn into dust and simply start falling after a while. Thus I recommend getting some custom inconel covers for the turbines instead. I had some made for my HKS2835 turbines.. Here is a few bad pics.. I used the first time I put my motor in some 2500 degree swain coating on my headers and turbine and they did very little to reduce engine temps and by the time I pulled the motor again 8 months later all the coating had flaked off in a large areas and was useless. With the ceramic on the manifolds I see alot less engine temps and is holding a little bit better but I have already started seeing that at the collector the coatings is starting to break down.
