Message for us SoCal guys, including SpecialtyZ, claims about ~25 Hp for the 1mm oversized valves with the 500 cams. That is especially expensive because it also includes aggressive work on the ports, and necessitates installing new valve seats. An intermediate approach (that I used), and seems to work well on the engines I've driven with it done is: bowl work (where the majority of HP is obtained when doing a complete "port and polish") and .5 mm oversize valves. With the .5mm valves, you can use your original seats, and save a bunch of $$$ along with foregoing the work on the ports, but still have the bowl work done. The owner (Place is called West Coast Cylinder heads), states the he thinks this package is worth 25-35 HP at around the 500 HP level. Hope that helps, Mark
