| You introduce air into a sealed system. Then, you jury rig some contraption to remove bubbles. I was taught the brake pedal should be slowly pressed while the bleed valve is closed the final time, to maintain an airless system. The one person system leaves all the bleeders open. Air can enter past the threads of the bleeder and via the tubing if it's not completely full of fluid. It might not, but then again it might. For my brakes, I'll find someone to sit in the car and push on the pedal.
