| forum seems a little slow this morning, so i though i would share. i purchased this z in dec '05 as a project car (1990 TT), to learn to work on z's: inside and out. we have come along way together, through the good and the bad. she had a troubled passed, but i was up for the rescue. then, at her previous owners house:

 here she is a few months later, after she got all z wheels, a stock tt front fascia, and some rear spoiler/lip work:


a year later, here is the engine, prior to removal:

a few months later, with another z in the family, she was stripped down for some more intense work:



bad news is she has gotten a bit of a power downgrade. about 2 years after purchase, she received an engine from her first sister (a 1990 n/a):
 that donation did not take so well. upon pulling the engine, i discovered the sheared camshaft to cas spline. she did not come with any splash guards, so i have made some in the past few months (along with a passenger side cowl):

 she received the next donor engine and harness from her youngest sister, a 1994 n/a. but, she is very reliable now, easy to maintain, and still retains hicas. with 10.5:1 compression and final drive gear of ~3.7, i can put it in 5th gear and idle around neighborhoods. she is also very light and very fun to drive still.
