| Imagine if we weren't so concerned with just our own backyards. What goes around, comes around. I think some problems with this crisis extend from boundries within economic communities. Here in North America, we need to start taking notes from older economies like in Europe, where it seems that companies have vision that extends beyond the here and now, they have (or they are evolving too), foresighted companies that try to prepare for the future. It's just starting to be an idea in NA, that we worry about the company's 'footprint' or how it actually affects the world around it'self. Economically, environmentally etc. If the big 3 started to think this way 20 years ago, the gas crisis wouldn't have sent them into this downward spiral. This whole thing started when gas shot through the roof over the summer.
