Message	Many of those types of shops will use very low quality parts. Make them show you the brands and types of rings, bearings, rods/pistons (if you need them) ect ect. Be VERY careful here.....I know this business.....they all advertise in the recycler....and Im telling you.....many of these shop use cheap parts becuase they are MUCH cheaper and allow them a lower end user price and high margins. They are willing to put up with a few smoking come backs....and most people dont notice a little smoking. Most are built to just make the 12,000 mile warrantee. You'de much better off getting a stock new lower end....they are like $2500 + $1500 or so in labor.....a bit more but you'll have a REAL new motor.
