I'm not trying to remove the texture, just trying to scuff everything so he paint sticks. Totally forgot about scotch-brite pads. I've got a replacement bumper and fascia, and I will most likely be painting them off the car. Then I'll mount them and see how badly they match and most likely blend them in to the door and hood, and other fender, and center panel...
