Message I love music, listen to my ipod all day at work and the stereo is on anytime I am driving my car. I am by no means an audiophile but I feel I have out grown my current system.

- Alpine CDA-9833
- 6.5" Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1 Components
- 6.5" Infinity Kappa 62.5i 2-way
- Alpine V12 F340 4 Channel Amp
- ChrisZTT Amp Cover And Boxes
- 2 12" Infinity Reference Subs
- Audiobahn A8002t Amp
- Ipod Interface

When I originally wired the system I just spliced into the factory speaker wiring rather than pull new speaker wire to all the speakers. The front components run off 55w rms but are rated up to 100rms I believe. Rears get like 25rms and are actually on their way out. One has a slight crackle but I keep them faded out a bit anyways. The highs on the components are very crisp and clear depending on the song but I find myself constantly adjusting the EQ on the HU to get the sound I want. That goes for the subs too. I know the subs and the audiobahn amp are junk but I got them so cheap I couldn't pass them up.
So what should I replace and with what? Keep in my mind the ChrisZ boxes are staying so I am looking for two 12" subs for sure. I think my HU and front components are decent enough to keep. Unless you feel they should be changed out. The components just need a little more juice to clean them up a bit I think. I'm also thinking about just leaving out the rear speakers all together. So what would you suggest for the following.

HU - reuse or replace with?
Front compnonents - reuse or replace with?
Rear speakers - delete or replace with?
2 12" subs - replace with?
Amp for subs - replace with?
Amp for front components possibly rears as well - replace with?

I am not looking for a 5 thousand dollar system but I want something nice. I will be piecing this system together over time so I can get better system in the long run as I am for the most part pretty happy with my current one. Maybe just purchase some high quality amps and rewire what I have?
