to install them after reading about the noise or whine issues some have had. Actually put the gears and all the bearings/seals I bought to rebuild the diff up for sale. No decent offers so I contacted Greg at Specialty Z about the noise issues. Greg told me to find someone "old school" who could fabricate shims (not just use the stock shims) to get the tolerances just right. I found just the guy here in central Florida...installed a week ago and they are just as quiet as stock so far. Admittedly I have not pushed the car yet, so I have not really felt the performance gain, but I can tell the car is ready to jump once I pass the break in period. So I would recommend finding someone who has done a lot of differential gear installs and rebuilds and who has no problem "fabricating the shims" to get the tolerances exactly right.
