| last Sunday. I was gridded second to last in the line of cars and worked my way up to 3rd by the checkered flag. Not bad for my first time on the track and battling against some seasoned drivers who had to be half my weight. It was a blast and I'll definitely be going again (I'll have to wrangle some local Z folks for some kind of group session). Oh...and not to bring up the bad omen but I know you mentioned putting the car on the road by January. Wasn't that around the same time of year your silver car got hit? IMLTHO, if you insist on getting it on the road prior to spring I'd suggest that you cover the car in at least 3 or 4 layers of bubble wrap. That will protect you from inattentive drivers and/or any driving errors you might make as you get reacquainted with driving it. :-) Dave
