what i dont get is the legal limit for how low a car can ride is (in ca anyways) no lower than the lowest part of the wheel. basically you have your sidewall height as your ride height minimum, you would think ideally the building practices would match vehicle code. sucks they dont. it surprises me from a legal/safety standpoint that they dont have a higher minimum ride height, or smoother driveway entry limits so cars can get in and out of any entry that is built to construction regulations, for some sort of emergency or just so a car does not create a hold up in traffic flow. scrape city is the price to pay for a drop, but the handling improvement from springs/coilovers are totally worth it.
