| I don't buy new rotors to have them turned/re-surfaced/machined. Who says that. Is it only me that think that's pretty screwed up? Um, have you ever inspected the rotors after high speed braking or tracking by any chance? Mine is always significantly darker (more contact) in the middle than the edge; sometimes I wonder if its just me (my brake pads contact area, my calipers etc) or whether that is normal. Uneven contact perhaps?
