:) All kidding aside, you have a couple of valid points. The simple fact of the matter is, however, that Nissan came out with the Z32 and exceeded all expectations of the time. It was so far superior to the Z31/280ZX that people had been used to seeing at the time, it's hard to belive it shared the same lineage.Nissan has failed to deliver another machine that exceeds expectations. The top of the line Z33 barely outperforms a ~20 year old stock TT Z32 (assuming it is well maintained). The bar was set too high with the Z32. After the 7 year gap between generations of Zs, you would have thought that Nissan could introduce something that looks as good/better, and substantially outperforms their previous installment. All that aside, it's hard to argue with the tuner crowd. It is far more expensive to snag 600 HP from a 3.5 VQ than the VG (although I will admit that, from my experience, the handling of the Z33 is improved and enjoyable).
