I have aluminized on my car and it sat untouched for two years. I've only driven it once in snow, but it's been driven countless times when there was an abundance of salt/sand on the roads. Kept on gravel driveways when not stored in a garage. There's a small patch of surface rust on the test pipe, but that's it. I would still opt for stainless if you can, but if you're on a tight budget and need something with the quickness, aluminized will work for quite a while. Mandrel bending is NOT an option though, that needs to happen.
