Message I agree it's a loose rule and I know you're a way smarter guy than I am. Even so, it has seemed to hold true over the hundreds of runs Greg, Dean and myself have put down over the years.

Maybe I'm thinking with my gut but my guess is that when things are as equal as they can be, it's fairly accurate. Is it possible the same track, same day and having automatic transmissions (shifting variable removed) is helping the accuracy along a bit?
